Your donation can make a BIG difference in our community! DICP appreciates all its partners; your donations empower our clients, helping us provide crucial necessities.
Our donors know that their partnership helps us put food on the table for a family that might be waiting on their paycheck. Their donations might be helping a newly arrived immigrant get assistance filing for their Colorado ID card. Donations can also do big things like provide free summer camp for a child in Health Rangers, keeping parents employed during out of school months. Here at DICP we aim to offer services that our community needs to stay afloat in times of hardship and resources that help people build a better future, and we use our donations to support all of those wonderful causes.

Donations make up nearly 37% of DICP’s total budget
We believe that any money not directly funding our programs should be spent in a restrained and frugal manner. The best charities to donate to show transparency in their annual reports.
Donations are where the rubber meets the road and where mission statements materialize.
Every donation, no matter the frequency or amount, is put immediately to use in one of our seven program areas and ensures dedicated staff resources are allocated.

$25 Equals
One of the following:
- Raffle prizes for a week’s worth of senior social gatherings
- 100 diapers - enough for 8-10 days
- 12.5 lbs of fresh produce for distribution at the weekly food pantry
$50 Equals
One of the following:
- 10 3-hour RTD tickets for getting to work, interviews or doctor appointments
- Transportation, lunch and admission for 1 senior for a Parish Senior outing
- A hands on, educational VeggieRx session for an individual
- 5 freshly prepared and nutritious Greens-n-Grains meals for students outside of school hours
$100 Equals
One of the following:
- Ingredients to prepare 10 meals for seniors
- Grocery gift cards for participants of two VeggieRx sessions
- 11 freshly prepared and nutritious Greens-n-Grains meals for students outside of school hours
$250 Equals
One of the following:
- 50 canisters of infant formula - roughly equivalent to 1,000 bottles
- 28 Greens-n-Grains meals for seniors 60+
- 1 family food box full of fresh produce and pantry staples at a food pantry distribution
$500 Equals
One of the following:
- 55 Greens-n-Grains meals for a Denver Public school’s partner site
- Necessary educational materials and food for 8 Veggie Rx workshops for individuals and families
- One temporary work permit for a newly arrived neighbor to begin a path towards economic security
$1,000+ Equals
- $2,000 - An entire Saturday food pantry distribution for 160 of our low income neighbors
- $3,350 - One semester’s tuition at Community College of Denver
- $6000 - home delivery of healthy grocery items for a month for 160 seniors
- $6,551 - One year’s tuition and fees at Community College of Denver’s downtown campus
Company Matching Donations
Double Your Impact With Employer Matching Contributions! Company matching donations have a year end reporting deadline, so you may even be able to match a donation you’ve already made this year. Check with your employer to see if they participate.
When you donate online, make sure to keep/print a copy of your email receipt to make it easier for deducting charitable donations come tax time.
